Quality Assurance – AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2008 Accreditation
Heartbeat Nursing Agency is fully accredited and certified, and conforms to the
requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2008 (approval number A/95437). The original
date of certification is 28 June 2002.
To assure a high level of service provision our audited ISO 9001:2008 Quality
Management System in place integrates Industry best practice methodologies and
continuous improvement processes incorporated through all levels of the
organisation. Heartbeat Nursing Agency recognises the necessity for and commits
itself to a philosophy of continuous improvement in quality of service and
professional standards. Heartbeat Nursing Agency will take all reasonable steps
to maintain and further develop policies, procedures and training activities,
which are utilised to enable quality Nursing Services to be provided
The scope of our certification is for the "casual and short-term placement of
nursing staff and allied staff in health care services". The accreditation
and certification is valid until 8th July 2014.
In addition, the Auditors of the QMS Certification Services have examined
Heartbeat Nursing Agency. The company has been found to be conforming with the
NPPs and HPA Privacy Management System and the requirements of the National
Privacy Principle as articulated in the Privacy Act 1988, in respect of “casual
and short-term placement of nursing staff and allied staff in health care
services”. Our Privacy accreditation and certification is valid until
11th August 2012
Heartbeat Nursing Agency is a member of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) and a member of The Australian Association of Nursing Recruitment Agencies (AANRA)and is subject to the RCSA Code of Professional Conduct.
